Vorster & Steyn is a well-established law firm situated in the heart of the Hermanus, specializing in commercial law, conveyancing and the administration of trusts and estates.  Established in the 1960’s, Vorster and Steyn has become synonymous with Hermanus and has been service its people for generations.  It is for this reason that our slogan is “ providing solutions”.  Our warm, client orientated approach to the practice of law and upholding the highest standards of ethics is what makes us a classic law firm, however our commitment to staying ahead of the technological curve is what defines our approach in satisfying our client’s needs.  We are a proud member of the PHI group and accordingly label ourselves as #newbreedlawyers. 

Established in the 1960’s, By the late Jose Burman, Vorster & Steyn was one of the first firms in Hermanus. The firm had a few partners and directors over the years until 1998 when Coenie Bierman, our current Director joined Lucas Steyn and they built and moulded the firm Vorster & Steyn into the law firm it is today. After Lucas Steyn’s passing in 2021, Coenie Bierman was left as the current director. Our firm is ever expanding and we soon after joined the famous PHI group of attorneys to take service delivery to our client to the next #newbreed level.
